PSI Insurance Agency, an affiliate of the Michigan Pharmacists Association (MPA), recently finalized the acquisition of Mid Michigan Insurance Group (MMIG), a Lansing-based company, which will relocate to PSI Insurance Agency’s office at MPA headquarters in January 2022.
Under the terms of the acquisition, former MMIG Owner Scott Harris, CPIA, LUTCF, and Dave Spoelman, sales manager, will now work for PSI Insurance Agency, maintaining their existing clientele, while also expanding services to include Auto Owners Insurance and Michigan Insurance Company.
PSI Insurance Agency Director Ron Devers, CIC, CPIA, CAWC – ranked 19th in the nation for life insurance sales out of over 30,000 Auto Owners agents – said PSI Insurance Agency is stronger than ever today, especially with the development of this acquisition.
“I’m so excited to add Scott and Dave to our staff,” Devers said. “With their many years of experience and their dedication to a customer-first attitude, they’ll be the perfect fit in our agency. We’re looking forward to growing our business and enhancing our relationships with our current customers, while embracing new opportunities for the future.”
Harris said he and Spoelman are pleased to be joining Devers and PSI Account Manager Ellen Rodriguez, CISR.
“Ron and Ellen are extremely kind and competent insurance professionals, and we are delighted to be joining forces,” Harris said. “At our new location, we are committed to providing the same excellent customer service, but with more products and even greater capacity to serve our customers.”
PSI Insurance Agency will continue to operate at 408 Kalamazoo Plaza in Lansing, with expanded offices now on the lower level in Suite 1. Contact PSI Insurance Agency at (517) 484-1468 or email Agency@PSIinsurance.net.
