MPA Refund Policy for CE Programs

Effective Date: Sept. 26, 2024

At the Michigan Pharmacists Association (MPA), we are committed to providing high-quality continuing education (CE) programs for our members and the pharmacy community. We understand that circumstances may arise requiring a refund for a CE program and we have established the following refund policy to ensure a fair and transparent process.

  1. Eligibility for Refunds
    • Full Refund: A full refund, minus a processing fee of 20%, will be issued for cancellations made at least 14 days prior to the scheduled CE program start date.
    • Partial Refund: Cancellations made between seven to 13 days before the program start date are eligible for a 50% refund.
    • No Refund: Cancellations made less than seven days before the program start date, or failure to attend the program, will not be eligible for a refund. This applies to home study programs.
  2. Non-refundable Programs
    • Any CE programs marked as non-refundable at the time of registration are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances.
    • On-Demand CE Programs:  Refunds will not be provided for any on-demand or pre-recorded CE programs once access has been granted.
  3. Cancellation by MPA
    • If MPA cancels a CE program, participants will receive a full refund or may choose to apply the registration fee to a future CE program.
  4. Process for Requesting a Refund
    • To request a refund, participants must submit a written request via email to Education@MichiganPharmacists.org. Refund requests will be processed within 10 business days of receiving the request.
  5. Refund Method
    • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during registration.
    • If the original payment method is no longer available, a check will be provided.
  6. Proof of Purchase
    • Participants must provide proof of registration, such as the confirmation email or order number, when requesting a refund.
  7. Special Circumstances
    • Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for emergencies or extenuating circumstances. Documentation may be required.
